What Data We Collect
When you use Ruled, we collect information you choose to give us:
- Your case description — what happened, who owes you money, and why
- Your email address, if you create an account or save your assessment
- Your province, so we apply the correct small claims rules
- Payment information processed via Stripe — we do not store card details directly
- Details you enter for demand letters, such as names and addresses
How We Store It
Your case data is stored in Supabase, encrypted at rest. Only the account holder can access their cases and documents through their authenticated dashboard. We do not share your case details with any other user or third party.
Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate the product:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Supabase — secure database and authentication
- Anthropic AI — case processing only; your case details are sent to Anthropic's API to generate your assessment and documents
These services are used solely to operate Ruled. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies for analytics purposes only (understanding how people use the site). We do not use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking.
Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@ruled.ca. We will delete your account and all associated case records.

- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
We do not sell your data to third parties — ever.
